You and Me originally formed at dartington college of arts when naomi and james probably met over a discussion about art/performance in context (really?).
They live in a big house in north london but they are not rich. sometimes james eats the cakes and apple pies that naomi makes but mostly they play songs together in their lovely home, sometimes also in theatres and rooms above pubs.

Mumford and Sons
Mumford & Sons started as antique dealers in 1994, and after dabbling in undertaking and bankruptcy, decided to utilise their minimal musical skills. They met up again whilst wigging out irregularly at grimy folk venues with sticky floors in London. They have recently streamlined their set-up to become a four-piece folk’n’roll band, living in each others’ basements deep underground with rats and umph-gah. They write songs about swimming in dirty water and use country instruments such as double-bass, banjo, dobro, acoustic guitar, piano and washboard. They all like to sing.

My name is Eric McGrath. I was born in Dublin 22 years ago to an Irish father and a Spanish mother. My earliest memory is of being taught to play nursery rhymes on a violin at the age of 2. Being introduced to the world of music at such a young age has helped me accumulate quite a collection of instruments. The latest addition to this collection has been a laptop on which I spend most of my free time, writing and recording my own songs. I think it’s probably also worth mentioning that everything heard on my tracks is me. I play all of the instuments and sing every voice (though my sister does appear at times singing backing).

Broadcast 2000 is the creation of Devon born multi-instrumentalist Joe Steer. On his debut EP Building Blocks, he combines cello, double bass, guitar, ukulele, glockenspiel, banjo, percussion and his own layered vocals. The Building Blocks EP will be released this spring on Groenland Records.

We Aeronauts
We all went to france and wrote some songs. It was hot, we were in the middle of nowhere and there was plenty of cheese and wine. We went swimming, rode bikes, shopped at Super U, and crashed into a telegraph pole.
