kyle eagle likes to make things and work with his hands and feet. the hands, for drawing and writing, which is constantly. the feet, for dancing and running, which is where ever there is a tune with genuine soul, and nash park, clifton, nj for a slopeful jog.mr. eagle has been making artwork all his life, just ask his mom, or any frustrated girlfriend…or friend for that matter. his work was once described as the art of unfinished business, which he was gladly flattered by the remark. especially since it’s the title of an EPMD album. (one of the true great hip-hop groups.) one gastronomical whiz kid friend of his declared his style was somewhere between the Harlem Renaissance and the Small Faces. again, he blushed with delight.

in addition to visual art, he has a true passion for music, something he easily falls prey to. as a result, he considers himself an amateur jazz historian. his logs and logs of photographs, portraits, essays, interviews, plane tickets, road trips, and record collection are a testament to this. reference the recent chico hamilton, andy bey, and grachan moncur III releases.

I have been in the arts since I was a young thing of 5 and ain’t no looking back. I work in painting, photography, film, writing and have a client list of numerous publications, corporations, card companies and more. I graduated from Philadelphia’s University of the Arts with my BFA in Media Arts/Painting.

The works in this series are called ANIMALIA and represent my digital outlet/output, a series of characters drawn from that little 5 year old boy who is still with me. I call the process ’digital collage’ scanning anything into the computer and then cutting and pasting them into a new work. Which is exactly as I see the world: disparate elements assembled together, synthesizing a grand collage.

Mary Kilvert is a freelance illustrator. She graduated with a degree in Illustration from Kingston University in 2004. During the course she found her love of pattern and decorative work. She loves drawing places, animals and people and is inspired by stories, folktales and fairytales. Nikki Pinder
Nikki Pinder is a freelance Illustrator, Artist and Designer based in Delamere Forest, Cheshire. At age four she attempted to learn how to fly using story books as wings, but in later years decided it’d be better to turn these abstract ideas into illustrations and artworks on canvas. Obsessed with details, ephemera, memories, and found objects, she grew up on a visual diet of comics and trips to the local antique shop. Textures and layering are an important consideration when creating her curious and sometimes bizarre characters and landscapes. The relationship between man and machine is another obvious fascination as she often juxtaposes organic and mechanical images to form surreal and whimsical narratives. Birds, insects and organisms are also a common theme throughout her work as she draws much of her inspiration from nature and it’s rustic colour palette.Always experimenting with materials, her style is characterized by paper and fabric collage and the incorporation of inks, graphite, acrylics and found images. The handmade theme which runs throughout her work was recently developed into a series of unique badges now supplied to various bookstores and shops. Nikki graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2005 with a BA Honours in Illustration and Graphic Design. Her first solo exhibition took place in November 2006 and she is planning to collaborate with various artists, photographers and musicians in the near future.

Ahoy, I am your classic 19 year old Johnny. I’d like to think I’m becoming general artist dabbling in photography, painting/drawing, music and recently “fashion” *cough*…I’m most content when absorbed working in my sketchbook on a canvas, losing complete track of time at a low lit desk late at night, listening to my tunes.I am not concerned about any “meaning” that might behind my work. That can be for other’s to decide. Normal people don’t think of what a piece of work represents, they just know If they like it or not.

Every piece of work I produce has to be personal to me look cool and be something my Mum would like.
