katy klaw and rosa rex went to school together in london but our friendship was mainly based on a mutual appreciation of the film 'empire records'.
we both moved to brighton in 2004 to study and talked about starting a band for ages but being really lazy never actually did it.
then katy klaw got offered a gig and she didnt want to do it on her own so she brought rosa along for company, they played only 3 songs one of which they wrote that afternoon.
since then they (well we to be honest im just enjoying writing in 3rd person) have played about 100 gigs.
amongst them were 8 shows in one week during brighton live last september and opening slots for Kate Nash, Jack Penate, LadyFuzz, Blood Red Shoes, Lou Rhodes, Bonobo and lots of other lovely people.
we are going on tour with Kate Nash in march and then putting our plans for world domination on hold until Rosa Rex finishes her degree in June.
